Pantone Colour Of The Year 2015(2)
Each year Pantone selects the colour for the year ahead. For 2015 it will be Marsala. Naturally robust with earthy wine red hues it will easily appeal to fashion, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors.
Applying it to menswear we have already seen this colour or similar shades on 2015 runways from full tailoring, separates and accessories.
On The Runways
Berluit | Antonio Marras | Burberry
Berluti opted for tailored separates utilising the same color into scarves and knitwear while Antonio Marras went with a casual approach adding a contrast sleeve. Burberry showed relaxed tailoring mixed with sneakers and same colour combo accessories for SS15.
